Accelerated Hydrogen Peroxide® (AHP®) Indicator Strips
Easy to use, dip and read test strips designed to verify the concentration of hydrogen peroxide in the SHYIELD™ Concentrate solution once diluted. The test strips provide confidence the 1:40 or 1:128 dilution has been achieved.

Usage
Direction for Use Disinfection (1:40)
- Dip the padded end of the test strip into the diluted solution and remove immediately.
- At the same time start the timer and shake the strip in a whipping motion three times to prevent excess liquid pooling on the strip.
- The test strip colour should match the colour block between 35 and 40 seconds to indicate a PASS.
Direction for Use Sanitizing (1:128)
- Dip the padded end of the test strip into the diluted solution and remove immediately.
- At the same time start the timer and shake the strip in a whipping motion three times to prevent excess liquid pooling on the strip.
- The test strip colour should match the colour block between 110 to 120 seconds (1 minute 50 seconds to 2 minutes) to indicate a PASS.
STORAGE
Store the AHP Indicator Test Strips at room temperature between 15oC–30oC (59oF-86oF). Do not expose the strip to direct sunlight. Ensure the cap is closed tightly after each use.
Product Concentration & Dilution Rate
- 7% AHP diluted at 1:40 - 1750 ppm
- 7% AHP diluted at 1:128 - 500 ppm
Safety
Keep the strip in the original container. Remove only the required strip before testing and immediately replace the cap tightly. Exposure of the uncovered strip to light and moisture may cause discoloration of the strip. Do not use the strip after the expiration date (opened or unopened). Do not touch the reagent pad with finger or any other surface. Once opened, the test kits have a shelf life of 6 months. Unopened test kits have a 24-month shelf life.
