Scientific name: Phytoseiulus persimilis
Common name: Predatory mite

Difference between Spidex Vital: has 95-100% gravid (pregnant) females, ovipositing (laying eggs) immediately. No food source. 

Best used: as a curative against the two spotted spider mite, where you need control immediately, due to a very large infestation with high amounts of webbing. 

Works by: feeding on all stages of spider mites, but has a preference for eggs. The predatory mites pierce the eggs and consume the contents. Adults will also attack adult spider mites but the smaller development stages only feed on smaller prey stages. The larvae do not eat.
