ROOT DISEASE SUCKS. OCTANE® DOES NOT.
Like a vaccine for your roots.
OCTANE® is a blend of Bacillus Subtilis and Licheniformis Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR). OCTANE® colonizes plant roots and attacks soil-borne pathogens directly.
Bacillus subtilis is a biological inoculant containing the rhizobacterium Bacillus subtilis, a PGPR native to soil that is used to enhance growth and yield through its nitrogen fixing properties and production of phytohormones.
Bacillus licheniformis is an efficient nitrogen fixing PGPR that can increase the available nitrogen in your soil and produce gibberellins as well as other auxins to encourage your plants to grow tall and strong.
- Plant-growth-promoting rhizobacteria are often used as biofertilizers to increase seedling emergence, enhance crop yields, increase plant weight and improve flavor in cannabis crops.
- Bacillus subtilis colonizes plant roots and attacks soil-borne pathogens directly. It also stimulates the plants to activate their natural resistance, which can act to control foliar pathogens
- Used as alternatives or adjuncts to chemical fertilizers, PGPR’s are a sustainable and efficient method to increase quantity and quality of yields, while offering protection against poor conditions and other abiotic stressors.
